101 Deweguns
COLLECTIVE MEMBER
At first glance this initiative of the arts may appear to present itself solely as the making of 101 Hand Drums (Deweguns), but the core of its vision rests upon much more.
It envisions nurturing and strengthening of the voice of our inner child;
building upon ‘Paying Forward’ acts of kindness as we collectively persevere and navigate through challenging global times.
It is supported upon an established foundation embracing and honouring the legacies of Chanie Wenjack and Gord Downie. Our collective’s goal is to help generate awareness and support for the ongoing efforts of the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.
Our focus is to encourage open reconciliatory dialogue, enabled through embracing the positive human attributes of love, respect, bravery, truth, honesty, humility, and wisdom.
